Trying to save!
I can’t tell you how frustrating it is these days to make some extra cash. I started this blog, so I could show others how easy it is to make some extra cash. Although I have had a few success stories with the handful of people that I helped.
I was still hoping that I could generate enough to pay some monthly bill. Only now with the economy doing so poorly, it only goes towards taxes. I feel like the only way to make it is to enter some kind of rewards program. One program I entered was at the hospital I currently work at. They had a lovely discount on the cellular service that I was using. They would give me 13% off my bill. I thought this was a wonder start to saving and even curtailing some spending. With the sales that have been going on, and the need to upgrade my ancient phone, I went with the Samsung instinct. Man oh man how I love this phone. It does everything I want and more. I am still learning to use all the features. I even feel like I started a little trend with my phone. All my current flip phone friends are looking into getting a touch screen phone now. My only down fall with this phone is that I had picked the everything plan for $99 a month. Considering all the text messaging I do, I thought this was a great deal along with my 13% off my bill.
Can I tell you when I called to inquire about how come my employee discount was no on my paper bill what they said. They said it’s already a huge discount and there for can not be combined with any other discount, including an employee discount. I felt like this was a scam! What is the point of getting a new fancy phone that requires an everything plan and you still can’t get a discount? Most of the upgrades people will make will require this plan, and now you’re telling me that we can no longer get an employee discount?
So now it’s back to the old drawing board for another way to save on my daily spending.

Got something to say?

When I moved my AT&T service didn’t work so well so I tried the Instinct when it came out. It was great, but the internet sucked. I decided I’d prefer to keep my iPhone (way better) and get a regular phone from Verizon. Sprint’s coverage wasn’t so good and if I was going to get a whole new bill, I needed reliability.
Verizon is the most expensive, but they also have the best coverage. I still keep my iPhone for the mini computer that it is and to offset the minutes I use with Verizon (cuz I can’t afford to raise the plan).
