With the recent increase of air fair, I find it more suitable to rent a car and just drive myself. I don’t mind driving myself because I have more control over my travel. I can stop and go at anytime. Also it is wonderful when I go visit family and friends. I never feel pressured into leaving at a certain time. Sometimes getting a car rental can be hard. I tend to go with which ever company has great deals. One company that is having awesome deals is Enterprise. This company is really close to my house and I have an enterprise coupon. They always have good selections on vehicles and I am never disappointed with their service. ![]()
Recently there was an email that I got from payperpost stating :
Over the past few weeks we have been listening to feedback from bloggers like you and as a result have changed the way PayPerPost works for bloggers. We believe the changes are pretty exciting and hope you will too.
Link Only Posts
Advertisers can now create Opportunities that only require a link only and don’t specify a minimum word count. You can write your normal content, insert a link and get paid.
More Opps Per Day
You are now able to do up to 7 Opps per day per blog. 3 of those can be sponsored posts and 4 of those can be link only Opps.
Interim Post Requirement
We have removed the interim post requirement from the system completely.
New Minimum Pricing
We had toyed with some pricing that allowed Opps to be as low as $.50, that is now $1.00 paid to a blogger at minimum.
All of this means more freedom, flexibility and options for you as a blogger to control the content of your blog and how you monetize moving forward. At a time when other companies in our space are forcing you to pick sides and asserting more control over you, PPP is leading the way with more latitude to run your blog as you see fit. We want you to choose a mix of services that works best for you. When you succeed we succeed.
So log in and start racking up that change. If your not a memeber of payperpost please visit the getting started tab at the top and scroll down til you see the payperpost sign up sheet.
I came across a helpful video that will help all us bloggers out there. There are more videos to watch as well as this one that will help you with some blogging tool ideas. My favorite video is the one about “Don’t buy this ear bud microphone from Best Buy. I think it was a great video that demonstrated the poor quality of the product. I wish there was more videos out there for may of the popular products that we would all want. That way we would know for sure if we liked it or not. Another video favorite was the “Typing from 30 feet away with logic tech wireless microphone. I felt like I wanted to add this item to my Christmas list.
Not only do I want to put the Dragon naturally speaking software on my list of must haves, I would also want a wireless microphone. Oh how much work I would get done around the house, if all I had to do was talk into the microphone while the program typed everything I said out for me. This would also help with my carpal tunnel. I have seen doctor’s offices with this kind of technology but never thought it would be affordable for someone like me.
It’s time for me to get back into the mode of blogging. I have to admit that I have slacked off and probably have let some of my viewers down. I have been too busy looking out for the new business venture that I totally forgot to document my findings.
Every day when I wake up, I have been asking my self what could I do that would help people in this day and age. I realize that customer service is not what it use to be these days. I find that many times the customer service rep are lazy and unwilling to go above and beyond there job scope.
With most of the customers I feel that when I problem arises, it would benefit the customer service rep as well as the customer if they rep would explain the policies as well as the procedure that pertains to the problem. This would eliminate all insecurities that the customer has towards that customer service rep. It would also make the process a bit more bearable since most customers just want to blame the customer service rep for not wanting to provide more of a service to them.
I believe that maybe creating a customer service site that could be universal for everyone to use. Maybe there could be a section about the post office and all mailing requirements. Then there could also be an online guide that could answer customer’s questions. I know we could all use a registry of motor vehicles online guide. There people can go there to find out information on what their responsibilities are and there for wont feel so shocked when asked for certain documentation.
Another big expense on my plate that I try to save on is my vision. I wear both contacts and glasses. These days I have been getting into glasses and love to have a pair for all my fashion statements.
One way that helps me to save on my new accessory habit is my vision health insurance. I think it’s important to have all kinds of health insurance such as dental and vision. Having vision insurance is so important to me and my family. It helps to save tons of money. Not everyone has the best vision plans. What is important to me is the routine care that they cover. If my vision insurance covers a routine eye exam, I can always find great buys online for eye wear.
I have found this one website to be exceptional with their prices. They also offer all the bells and whistles for either free or up to $39.99. The bells and whistles that I am taking about are the anti-scratch protection, UV protection and even the sun glass color tint.
With these prices, I can afford to purchase more than one pair. I just love the sunglass color tint option. Most places like to charge $40 for this service alone. Here at Zennioptical they are only asking for $ 4.95. Take a look for yourself at their eyeglasses.
I can’t tell you how frustrating it is these days to make some extra cash. I started this blog, so I could show others how easy it is to make some extra cash. Although I have had a few success stories with the handful of people that I helped.
I was still hoping that I could generate enough to pay some monthly bill. Only now with the economy doing so poorly, it only goes towards taxes. I feel like the only way to make it is to enter some kind of rewards program. One program I entered was at the hospital I currently work at. They had a lovely discount on the cellular service that I was using. They would give me 13% off my bill. I thought this was a wonder start to saving and even curtailing some spending. With the sales that have been going on, and the need to upgrade my ancient phone, I went with the Samsung instinct. Man oh man how I love this phone. It does everything I want and more. I am still learning to use all the features. I even feel like I started a little trend with my phone. All my current flip phone friends are looking into getting a touch screen phone now. My only down fall with this phone is that I had picked the everything plan for $99 a month. Considering all the text messaging I do, I thought this was a great deal along with my 13% off my bill.
Can I tell you when I called to inquire about how come my employee discount was no on my paper bill what they said. They said it’s already a huge discount and there for can not be combined with any other discount, including an employee discount. I felt like this was a scam! What is the point of getting a new fancy phone that requires an everything plan and you still can’t get a discount? Most of the upgrades people will make will require this plan, and now you’re telling me that we can no longer get an employee discount?
So now it’s back to the old drawing board for another way to save on my daily spending.
